Hello World… le blog en fuego.
Hello world. The world that never sleeps, exists everywhere and nowhere at once. Little snippets of lives spread out over various services; blogspot, myspace, facebook, twitter, and so on. Profiles come and go, and each time a little bit of reinvention occurs with the perspective of a new lens. Even as I copy and paste, delete, and reorder these words, a little reminder appears below my pane every keystroke is being saved on a server somewhere. Draft saved at 11:11:11 p.m. Draft saved at 11:11:12 p.m. Constantly plugged in, constantly saved, constant change. I wonder if the works of future authors will be analyzed by their digital history. No more scouring the margins for handwritten notes and exclamation points, just a program that disects and categorizes.
What to do in the world of the information superhighway? Am I a driver of the Minnesotan variety who is always in the left lane and staunchly obeying the speed limit? Or perhaps the tailgating Californian who’s namesake provides us with the rolling stop? What is this blog about!?! I need a theme, a camera, lights, action! Action antics. It’s here for now, it will probably change. Feel free to comment on this my first wordpress post and let me know what you’re missing from zee Internets for which I can provide succor. Help me aprilade your day.
